Enrolment consumer terms.
Version 1.1 · Last updated 6 November 2026
1. Parties and contracting entity
These terms are between you (the mentee) and Jayimpact Group Ltd, company number 16120147, whose registered office is 1 Nelson Road, Northfleet, Gravesend, England, DA11 7EE (“we”, “us”, “our”). Jayimpact Group Ltd is the supplier of The Bartels Property Mentorship. It collects fees, contracts with mentees, issues certificates of completion and is responsible for programme content, the community and refunds. The programme is led by Justice Bartels. Enrolment creates a mentorship relationship only. Any deal partnership, joint venture or co-investment involving Jayimpact Group or Justice Bartels would be entirely optional, negotiated separately and recorded in a standalone written agreement.
2. What the programme includes
The Foundation Cohort (Tier 1) runs for 12 weeks and includes: 12 weekly live sessions, held on Mondays at 18:30 (UK time), each lasting 2 hours: a 60-minute teaching module, a 45-minute hot seat or deal clinic, and Q&A; members portal access for the cohort duration (12 weeks), including session replays and weekly downloadable resources; access to the private mentee community; and completion assessment against the Mentee Scorecard. The Deal Partner Track (Tier 2) is an advanced tier for Foundation Cohort graduates only. It is earned through the week-11 scorecard review, not sold. Any deal partnership arising from it is subject to a separate written agreement and is not included by enrolment. The programme is an educational and accountability programme. It does not offer investment opportunities, manage money, or enter into investments on your behalf. No income, return or outcome is guaranteed or implied. Nothing in the programme is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice.
3. Enrolment process
Enrolment follows these stages: application (you submit the application form on justicebartels.co.uk; we acknowledge applications within one working day); qualification review (we review your application against the programme’s qualification criteria); discovery call (a 30-minute call covering your goals, resources, fit and expectations); and offer (if you are successful, we issue a cohort offer with a start date and terms — pricing is confirmed at this stage only). Your place is confirmed only when you accept an offer. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place, and applying does not create a contract. If capacity is full, qualified applicants may be placed on a waitlist for the next intake.
4. Fees and payment
Tier 1 (Foundation Cohort): £2,500 + VAT at 20% as a single payment (£3,000 total including VAT), or three monthly payments of £950 + VAT at 20% (£1,140 each, £3,420 total including VAT). The instalment option costs £420 more in total than the single payment. This difference is disclosed prominently at checkout before you pay. Tier 2 (Deal Partner Track): £4,995 + VAT at 20% (£5,994 total including VAT), available only to Foundation Cohort graduates who meet the week-11 scorecard criteria. Payment methods and processing: payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd) through secure payment links issued with your cohort offer. All prices shown at checkout are inclusive of VAT at 20%, so the total amount payable under each option is visible before you commit. Payment timing: the single payment is due in full on the day your cohort place is confirmed; instalments are collected as three monthly payments, the first on confirmation and the remainder on the same calendar day in each of the following two months. Missed instalments: if an instalment payment fails, we will first send a reminder and a reasonable opportunity to pay — at least 7 days’ written notice before any suspension of access. If the payment remains outstanding, we may suspend access to the portal, live sessions and community until the account is up to date. Suspension is not a termination and does not forfeit your fees; what happens to fees on prolonged non-payment will be reviewed with you individually before any decision. We will not treat fees as forfeited without this review.
5. Cancellation: your 14-day right
If you contract as a consumer at a distance, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the day after the contract is concluded, without giving a reason and without penalty. If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received under the contract within 14 days of the day we are informed of your cancellation, using the same means of payment you used (unless you agree otherwise), and without any fee. To cancel, contact enquiries@jayimpactgroup.com with a clear statement (for example, an email saying you wish to cancel your enrolment). You may use any clear statement, including the model cancellation form set out in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you wish. If you ask us to begin the programme during the 14-day cancellation period, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to what has been supplied up to the point of cancellation. Starting early requires your express request. If digital content (portal resources, recordings) is supplied immediately during the cancellation period, you will be asked for your express consent to immediate supply and will acknowledge that this may affect your cancellation right. These choices are captured separately at checkout, not combined into general acceptance of these terms.
6. Consumer Rights Act 2015
We will perform the programme’s services with reasonable care and skill. Any digital content supplied as part of the programme must meet the statutory standards for digital content under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
7. Conduct and community
You agree to follow the Programme Community Guidelines (v0.2, signed off 6 November 2026), provided to you before enrolment begins and available in the members portal at all times. A copy is also provided with your cohort offer. Access may be suspended for non-payment or serious breach of the community guidelines. Before any removal, we will review the matter with you and give you an opportunity to respond. Removal is proportionate and is not a penalty: what happens to fees on removal follows the review in clause 4 (missed instalments) and will be addressed individually rather than as an automatic fee forfeiture. We will not remove a mentee or forfeit fees without a documented placement review.
8. Changes to the programme
We may update programme content, resource templates or session formats. Material changes (such as the session schedule or resource availability) will be notified in advance with reasonable notice. If a material change significantly reduces what you paid for, we will contact you and discuss options, including an appropriate remedy, before the change takes effect.
9. Limitation of liability
The programme supplies education and accountability structures. Subject to the paragraph below, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of anticipated savings arising from participation in the programme. Our total aggregate liability arising under or in connection with the programme is limited to the total fees paid by you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Data protection
Application and programme data are processed under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our privacy notice (available at justicebartels.co.uk/mentors/privacy/), provided at application, explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights. Data are used only for programme administration.
11. Notices and contact
Notices, complaints and cancellation requests should be sent to enquiries@jayimpactgroup.com, or by post to Jayimpact Group Ltd, 1 Nelson Road, Northfleet, Gravesend, England, DA11 7EE. We will acknowledge notices within one working day.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
